Liquor Commission approve permit

Most of the objectors today received notification via email from Stephen Emmet, Senior Licensing Officer at Liquor Control Victoria that the application for a packaged liquor licence at 63 Central Springs Road has been approved.

Whilst this is disappointing, it is probably not unexpected.

It was heartening to read that over 200 written objections were made, which given the permanent population of our town, is pretty significant.

It is also worth noting, that whilst this is a setback, it is by no means over. We have 28 days in which we can request an internal review. I will be gathering all required documents and keep everyone in the loop when we know more.
